Vermont Fest is seeking presenters who bring thought leadership, innovation, and expertise to inspire and support Vermont education leaders and classroom teachers!

What you need to know

  • Your audience generally falls into 3 groups: Teachers, Technology Leadership, School/District Leadership. Obviously many attendees have responsibilities in multiple groups.
  • All accepted proposals will align to one or more of the following: ISTE Educator StandardsISTE Standards for CoachesISTE Standards for Education Leaders, The National Standards for Quality Online Learning, and/or the CoSN Framework of Essential Skills for the K-12 CTO. Please keep this in mind as you plan your proposal. We will need your input on how your presentation/workshop supports the standards.
  • Workshop and presentation slots are scheduled for 60 minutes, but we recommend that you plan on 45 minutes to allow for questions and for attendees to navigate the online space.
  • There are 4 basic session formats: 1) Presentation/Lecture, 2) Hands-on Workshop, 3) Panel Discussion, and 4) Flash Session.
  • Flash sessions are 15 minutes presentation-style sessions. We will group 3 flash sessions together into an hour slot.
  • All sessions will be recorded. Your session will be archived and made available to Vita-Learn members after the conference. By presenting at Vermont Fest, you are granting Vita-Learn a royalty-free, perpetual license to distribute the recording and a copy of your presentation slides and materials to its members.
  • If your proposal is accepted, you receive a FREE All Conference Pass.
  • Proposal Deadline: September 25, 2020, 2 pm Eastern.
