Ensure your entire district/school is copyright compliant with a public performance site license from Swank Movie Licensing USA!
Our license provides comprehensive coverage for your entire school/district for movie showings from all of the top Hollywood studios.

Once you secure your Swank annual license, your school/district is free to show unlimited movies from top studios for end-of-year celebrations, family engagement, PBIS/student rewards, holiday parties and more. Even better, these movie events can take place both indoors and outdoors for exciting year-round programming!

Each building requires its own license. To receive discounted state-level pricing, schools must renew between April 1 and August 15 of this year.

To receive discounted state-level pricing, schools must renew between April 1 and August 15 of each year. Vita-Learn member institutions save at least 25% off of licensing and streaming services pricing.
All consortia members will share the same licensing term: October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026. New subscribers will be provided early access at no additional cost so that your services are available for the start of the school year!
Ordering Instructions
- Please complete the SWANK Estimate/Ordering Form to request an Estimate. Pricing is dependent on numerous factors including enrollment, numbers of buildings, and more.
- Note that pricing will always be better if you purchase these services as District/SU. If you know that multiple schools in your district intend to renew/subscribe, please coordinate locally and request an estimate for the entire District/SU.
- Once you have your Estimate, please use that to obtain a Purchase Order and submit the Purchase Order using the same form.

PUBLIC LIBRARY ANNUAL LICENSE COVERAGE:
- The annual public performance site license allows your library to show an unlimited number of films for any aspect of library programming inside the library building.
- You can show any legally obtained copy of a film that is covered by the annual license.
- To check if a film you wish to show is covered by the annual license, use our online movie search tool in the upper right-hand corner of our website. If the film comes up and does not specify Single Event License Required, you are free to show it under the annual license coverage.

- The library can advertise movie events using the title of the movie on the library’s website, inside the library and on anything sent to library patrons via mail or email to help get the word out.
STREAMING PORTAL ACCESS:
- The streaming portal provides access to a curated selection movies that can be used for movie programs and group showings inside the library and is an add-on to the annual license.
- Titles are updated monthly to match themes, holidays, new releases, and programming needs. All the titles featured on the portal are covered by the annual license.
- The access is IP based, so no log in is required. It can be accessed by multiple devices simultaneously, and you can use it for group showings as often as you would like.
- The library can go to the portal which is web based, select the movie they want to show and click play and it will instantly start playing the movie. The movies will have subtitles, and most will offer alternate languages.
- The library can view titles that will be featured on the streaming portal on our website here: https://www.swank.com/public-libraries/stream-movies/. Those are updated around 5-6 months ahead of time to help with planning and programming.
Public Library Purchasing Information
All Vermont Public Libraries will share the same licensing term: June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027. New subscribers will be provided early access at no additional cost so that your services are available from the date that you certify your order until May 31, 2027!
