Burlington, VT (June 9, 2026) — Vita-Learn is excited to welcome Kristine Lott as our new executive director, beginning in July. Kristine brings experience across education, technology, non-profit operations, and public service to this role. For more than ten years, she worked with a national K-12 education nonprofit that partners with schools, districts, and states to strengthen teaching and learning systems. She began her work there providing online learning support, growing into project management and systems implementation, and eventually leading operations and organizational change efforts to help education teams adopt tools and practices that improved collaboration, efficiency, and service to staff and students.

Kristine also brings a strong record of leadership in local government here in Vermont. She served as the Mayor of Winooski from 2019 to 2025, a role that included strong collaboration with local and state partners to address issues including housing affordability, civic engagement, education funding, and major infrastructure projects. Her combined experience in education systems, technology implementation, nonprofit operations, and public leadership gives her a practical, collaborative perspective on supporting Vermont schools and the technology professionals who serve them.
