School Data and Software Systems Inventory Survey

Survey IconBased on conversations at our recent Tech Pizza event as well as conversations that occurred during some of this spring’s Monthly IT Leadership calls, Vita-Learn is seeking to collect data about software/data systems in use in Vermont schools. This information will be held by Vita-Learn, and shared with members. Additionally, The Board of Directors recognized an immediate need to leverage a comprehensive inventory of this data to provide more context and insight to those entities tasked with making decisions about future consolidation efforts. This data will inform a report that will be made public in the hopes that it will aid with the consolidation efforts and better ensure a thoughtful, well-informed process.

To aid with your data collection and submission, please see this document for a full list of what data is being collected. It is recommended that you collect this information separately, then when ready, submit it using this online survey tool. The form itself is very short. You will be required to submit one entry per software system. That will allow multiple people to submit data, and make it easier to break up the data entry over multiple sessions as needed.

If you have questions, please email Jeff Mao, director@vita-learn.org.

PLEASE SUBMIT DATA NO LATER THAN AUGUST 31. We will assemble the data to share an initial look at it at the September Monthly IT Leadership call.
