Authors Clare Kilbane and Natalie Milman have graciously offered to attend the July 15, 2025, virtual session to discuss the book and answer your questions.

Here is what the authors have said about coming to the July 15, 2025 session: “We’re excited to participate in this virtual book study and are looking forward to meeting with educators to talk about how they can more powerfully integrate technology to achieve the goals of differentiation.”

ClaBook Study 2025 Author Clare Kilbanere R. Kilbane is a professor at the University of Notre Dame, where she educates future teachers, designs curriculum materials, and conducts research on education. She also serves as the director of research and development for online education at the McGrath Institute and is its senior learning designer. A former elementary school teacher, Kilbane has 20 years of experience working in teacher education.Book Study 2025 Author Natalie Milman

Natalie B. Milman is associate dean of the Office of Students at The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Education and Human Development and a professor of educational technology in the online Educational Technology Leadership Program. Milman is co-editor of the Current Practice section of Contemporary Issues in Technology and Teacher Education, has published numerous journal articles, and is the co-author of several book chapters and books.

Alice BarrAlice is a retired technology educator who is a Google Certified Innovator and past recipient of ACTEM’s Achieve and the John Lunt Friend of Technology Awards, will facilitate the book study.


Vita-Learn is collaborating with peer organizations MassCUE (Massachusetts)NHSTE (New Hampshire), and ACTEM (Maine) to offer a summer book study. Organizing and implementing a differentiated classroom is a challenge no matter where you teach, so we look forward to reading this book together and sharing best practices.
