 Join educators from Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine for a virtual winter book study of EdTech Essentials: 12 Strategies For Every Classroom in the Age of AI! The book study will be conducted over 4 Zoom gatherings facilitated by Alice Barr, a retired technology integrator from the Yarmouth School Department in Maine. The author of EdTech Essentials: 12 Strategies For Every Classroom in the Age of AI, Dr. Monica Burns, will join the final and culminating Book Study Session (April 3).

  • Pre-registration is required. Deadline has been extended, but the sooner you register, the sooner we can ship you the book!
  • Six (6) professional learning clock hours will be awarded to those who participate in all four virtual book study Zoom meetings.
  • Registration includes shipping the book directly to YOUR preferred address.

Author: Dr. Monica Burns

  • Dr. Burns is a curriculum and EdTech consultant, Apple Distinguished Educator, and founder of ClassTechTops.com. As a classroom teacher, Monica used digital tools to create an engaging differentiated learning experience to meet the needs of her students. Monica hosts a blog, podcast, and membership site to support educators who want to streamline technology integration. She leads workshops and provides keynote presentations to teachers, instructional coaches, administrators, and tech enthusiasts at numerous national and international conferences including SXSW EDU, ISTE, FETC, and EduTECH.

Facilitator: Alice Barr

  • Alice is a retired technology integrator from the Yarmouth School Department in Maine. She is a fantastic educator who has taught and traveled on give continents. Alice is a Google Certified Innovator and a past recipient of ACTEM’s ACHIEVE Award plus the John Lunt Friend of Technology Award. These awards recognize individuals who have significant;y contributed to the education and technology integration in Maine. Alice is familiar with the Dr. Burns’ work, and she is excited to lead this book study.
