Seeking Vermont Fest 2023 Conference Planning Committee Volunteers!
Vita-Learn is looking for 3-5 dedicated conference committee volunteers. The Board of Directors seeks a diverse group to aid with planning and hosting the annual Vermont Fest conference.
Conference Committee Members
- Enthusiastic members of the Vermont Edtech landscape
- Enjoy planning PD events and recruiting presenters and attendees
- You are a teacher/educator, librarian, digital learning coach/integrator, or school IT professional
Conference Committee Duties
- Workshop topics and presenters for 2023
- Brainstorming and identifying topics that would be of interest to attendees
- Identifying and recruiting presenters
- Attend monthly (June-October) committee meetings via Zoom
- Review and approve workshop proposals (rolling, as they are submitted)
- Provide feedback and ideas for improving the conference
- Promote the conference to your networks (i.e. your colleagues, your social media channels, etc.)
- Attend the conference (Nov. 2-3)
- Staff one (1) volunteer shift at the conference (support presenters, reg desk support, etc.)
- Identify potential future Keynote speakers and/or topics
Conference Committee Volunteer Benefits
