Many secondary librarians are tasked with developing and teaching courses. But how do you decide what to include? Where do you get the materials and lesson plans? This session will walk through my experience in developing an information literacy course at Colchester Middle School, as well as providing an open forum for attendees to share their experiences. We will touch on the AASL standards, proficiencies, curricula, and online resources as well as sharing some specific lesson ideas.
