This session will provide hands-on” opportunities to learn how to create a map and a variety of ways you can implement Google My Maps into your classroom. A highlight will be participating in a Google My Map Breakout! This will be a fun learning experience for everyone and will leave you with the tools you need to share with your students the next day.”

Cyndy Harrison is an Education Technology Consultant with Sourcewell Technology in St. Paul. She has a M. Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction and is an ISTE certified educator and trainer. As a U.S. history teacher at a multicultural high school, she was dedicated to all of her students both in the classroom and with extracurricular school activities. Additionally, she wrote curriculum to support the 1:1 district initiative for 7,000+ students along with creating online tutorials to support the TEA End-of-Year exam. She continues to be a passionate educator that has conducted numerous professional development sessions for K12 and Higher Ed audiences at schools, districts, and various regional and national conferences across the country.
