Stop motion animation can be a pathway to storytelling, art and science. In this workshop we will learn several easy animation techniques that can be used with students as young as kindergarten! Bring paper, black marker, straws, tape, post it notes, and your imagination and have some fun animating. Walk away from this workshop with ideas to use the next day with students. Stop Motion Studio application and its value will also be discussed. This presentation will be shared through the lens of lesson plans used with a kindergarten STEAM class during required COVID safety protocols.
